Perfect for my iPad and basic essentials. If you like to carry a lot, this is not for you. My iPad fits with plenty of room left so I think a Macbook or a similar slim laptop would be fine as well. A newspaper, magazine, paper planner (thick), bulky headphones, a couple of chargers, bulky sunglasses and that's about it. But it is so wonderfully slim you don't feel like an elephant in a porcelain shop. And if need be it can be stuffed a bit for times when you have more to carry. Plenty of pockets for great organizing. My only gripe is the brass hardware. As good as it looks (and will probably last forever) it can be hard on your knuckles while digging for stuff in the small pockets.
