The Philips 46-Inch 1080p LED LCD HDTV measures 27.85-by-42.83-by-10.08-inches (H x W x D) including the stand and is backed by a manufacturer's one-year limited warranty.

After doing a lot of reading other reviews, I decided to purchase this TV, expecting that the audio would be terrible and the picture pretty good. After using the set for a couple of weeks here is what I have to say:

Picture: The picture is great unless you're going to use it for gaming, then it's average to good. But for the price I paid, i can't complain. There are some lighter areas in the picture in the corners as mentioned by other reviewers, but it's not very noticeable unless it's a very dark scene or you're just looking for it.

Audio: Much better than expected, particularly after reading many of these reviews. First of all the tv is like 1.5 inches thick, so if you're expecting a subwoofer, or perfect sound, you're just an idiot. If I am just watching tv, it's perfectly fine, much better than the old, 200lb piece of crap that I am getting rid of for this one. Having said that, it does sound a bit tinny, especially at high volume or if listening to music, so a sound bar or something like that is now on my wish list.

Features: Media Connect seemed really cool, but the lag is ridiculous, but it may just be my network speed is not fast enough to keep up. Netflix is great, just like it is on my wii. But also much slower. I now have the TV directly connected to my network (there is a slot for a network cable in back) and it's still slower than my wii, which is wireless. Having pandora is also very cool...the rest of the apps I have not used yet. I have also found it nice that I can change the screen resolution to fit whatever I'm watching. you know how widescreen movies always cut off a ton of the tv? it's worse on a widescreen tv, which I think is wierd because why wouldn't it just fill the frickin widescreen tv? anyway you can change it to 16:9 so that it cuts off less of the picture.

All that said, I would not have paid full price for this tv, but at less than half of the list price I would say this is a no brainer, and would buy it again.

The main reason for this purchase was the price. No LCD/LED tv, even non smart, was under $600.
Everything works great except for the Netflix app.. It takes about 5min. to load a movie. Even after
I upgraded the software. I have another smart tv that loads Netflix quickly, about 10 seconds, so I
know it's not a problem with my internet service. I'm probably going to stream content through my blue ray
player instead.
This tv is still a great value. Even with it's flaws.
