Product Description
Cons:
- brakes stopped working within a year
- front wheels catch and go crazy when pushed too fast
- basket drags and has been rendered unusable (I hear this is better on later models)
- back wheels wear down
- canopy coverage is not amazing when seat is reclined
Some observations:
I like the fold (though after 2 years it is starting to catch sometimes and not work on the first try) and side handle - I've carried this up and down stairs, etc, a LOT, with success. Though it's noticeably heavier than a real umbrella stroller for carrying around, it is also noticeably easier to push.
Some people consider the brakes issue a dealbreaker, but I have never had the stroller roll away, and I live on a hill - I just pay a little attention and leave it against a post or wall or sideways and it stays put.
The fast-pushing problem is more serious. I don't know what it is, but the front wheels just can't go fast. It's annoying to lean the stroller back to push if you need to run for a few feet.
One reason I chose this stroller over a maclaren is that the maclaren rear wheels wear down and need expensive replacing. Well, after using it moderately every day for a year the Si also needed new back wheels. Had to pay for them, but it was under $20 if I recall. A year later and we will probably need new wheels again before the end of the winter. Also the hub caps on the back wheels come off very early, but that doesn't seem to impede functionality.

This stroller was recommended to us by a family member when they saw we had a different one on our registry. We ended up taking their advice and got this one (they were actually nice enough to purchase it for us). We've been using it for 3 months and so far really like it. Since our baby is just 3 months we've only used it with the infant car seat (Peg Perego Viaggo SIP) so can't account for all its uses yet but I can at least offer the pros and cons that we've encountered.
Pros:
- light weight and easy to get in and our of the car
- offers a pretty smooth ride and turns easily (in fact, our baby is generally pretty content when we're on walks even after her initial fuss when being put into the car seat)
- adjustable handles (I'm 5'1 and my husband's 6'1 so we need different heights)
- collapses and opens very easily and can often be done with just one hand (sometimes I need an extra hand when opening it)
- car seat is very easy to attach and we're comfortable with its safety and stability
- good quality and sturdy materials
- brakes are easy to turn on and off
- when using the infant car seat you have both the sun canopy of the car seat as well as the one on the stroller, which together allow you to completely enclose your infant since they are on opposite sides
- when the stroller's sun canopy is open you have access to a little pouch to put small things such as phone and keys

Cons:
- There is not a tray up top for the parents to utilize (i.e. something that you can put drinks (plural), or just to plop thing in as you go). I suspect this will be even more annoying once she's a bit older and we're using the stroller more for errands, theme parks (we live in Florida), etc.
- there is a single cup holder you can attach to the side, but as others have mentioned, it's relatively useless because only very skinny bottles/cups can fit in it. And something really small, like a Dixie cup, (although not sure how often one would be drinking from one) would actually just fall right out of it.
- there isn't a "snack" tray for the child either. I figured there at least had to be an accessory you could purchase separately, but nope. Again, this isn't an issue now but could be once she's older
General note:
- it's not as bothersome as we initially thought it would be, but the storage on the bottom of the stroller is only accessible from the sides (others have found this to be a con).
Overall, we are very happy with this stroller and so far have been able to overlook and do without the items we mentioned as cons. I was given a Maclaren Quest stroller, but I just didn't like it. The canopy is a joke and hardly blocks any sun. If you put a bag on the handle bars (which you will need to do since the storage basket is small) and take your child out it falls backwards. The ride is bumpy and my child is always leaning to one side. I don't have any of these issues with the Si. I read other reviews that the wheels go crazy and the ride is bumpy but I haven't encountered that. The advantage of having the Maclaren Quest over the Si is that it is lighter and folds up smaller.
Also, I have the Si 2011 model and I think they fixed the storage basket dragging on the floor issue. It appeared the previous model was made entirely of stretchy mesh causing it to drag. The one I have is only mesh on the side and not on the bottom. I purchased the Diono Buggy Buddy Stroller Organizer to go on it since the cup holder it comes with will not hold a cup of coffee.

I've had this stroller (2009 model) for just over 2 years. It has some significant downsides but overall I don't regret the purchase.
Pros:
- narrow enough to fit through checkout and aisles at crowded urban stores
- makes very tight turns
- can take an infant (in carseat or not)
- amazing canopy coverage when seat is upright (enough to block rain if ou forget the plastic)
- handles are high enough for my 6-foot-tall self
- I am usually able to push one-handed
- handle-hooks for bags are a nice touch
- standing fold

Like some other reviewers I too felt it was somewhat flimsy feeling at first, worried it would only get worse and fall apart, but it has stayed at the same level of slightly-creaky for two years and most certainly not fallen apart. That said, several things are showing their wear (folding mechanism, e.g.) and I while I do expect to use it through my second I will be surprised if it lasts longer than that.
The recline has gotten harder to do over time - at this point I need two hands for each side, which makes it a two-step process.
The bottom of the seat can be flipped up for small babies or down for kids who can rest their feet on the bar below. I find that it does not stay flipped down, but comes up when my kid moves around. Also, it has gotten stretched so it is not very "up" even in the up position. That said, my (now almost 3 y.o.) kid actually prefers it "up" so it's not an issue...
Everything else I can think of having bought has its own issues, though, so on the whole I don't have buyer's remorse.

Though I buy practically everything through Amazon, this is the first product review I've taken the time to write. After interacting with Peg Perego customer service I feel I should share my experiences with them in case it helps anyone else.
First of all the stroller review: I have the 2009 model in Kiwi.
Pros: The color is great. The recline and sun shade are both fabulous. The seat reclines almost flat which is great for sleeping. The sun shade gives ton of coverage. There is a cup holder. The stroller stands when folded. All of the mechanisms are very easy to use.

Cons: Sometimes the front wheels spin uncontrollably. I'm not sure what the cause of this is. It seems to happen most when I'm walking quickly. The basket underneath the stroller drags on the ground and has developed holes. This happens even if the basket is not heavily loaded. Reading the other Amazon reviews it seems this is a common problem with the 2009 model. It is VERY irritating to have your items go drag, drag, drag as you walk. I contacted Peg Perego about this issue and asked if they could replace the basket since this is a known issue. I was told that I am welcome to buy a new basket for $28 plus $10.90 shipping and handling. I am so disgusted that they won't replace a broken part on their product that I will not be purchasing anything from Peg Perego again. Now I have a stoller with no basket.
