Imagine you're looking at a flick book. If you only saw one in every few pages you wouldn't get the full story. It's the same when you're watching some TVs. If it cannot progress between different images, called frames, quickly enough the result is movement becomes juddery or blurred. On the majority of our TVs we improve the appearance of movement on the screen with our motion technology. This smooths the sequences between images and reduces blur. However, if you want fast-paced action like a high-octane tennis match, a sweeping shot of a vast landscape or anything involving 3D then you will want a TV able to move between frames at the maximum possible speed.
